Hi Parents!
This is a HUGE shout-out to the wonderful parents we have at WMS who always help support the drama department. I could not do this without you, and your students and I are so appreciative. Thank you for giving your time and talent to make this show great.
Here are a few reminders and requests from our wonderful volunteer coordinator:
1. Please, please, please visit Sign-Up Genius to sign up for the last of the volunteer shifts we desperately need covered. A big thank you to the Committee Chairs and those of you that have already worked multiple shifts and signed up for more! But... we need every child's family to help behind the scenes to make this work! If you are not receiving Sign-up Genius notices, email wmstheatervolunteer@gmail.com to make sure your group leader added you to the list.
We realize everyone is busy as this is a super busy time of year (& it seems a lot of you have Saturday night plans!), but if you can help for a part of a shift, there may be another adult able to pitch in for the second half. The sign-ups are really bare-boned for this show so that no one is volunteering needlessly, but we cannot have 100 kids wandering through the Green Room, Learning Center or Halls unattended. Whatever you can do to help would be appreciated.
2. The seating in Fay Auditorium is on a first come, first serve basis. There is NO saving of seats in advance and no entry into Fay until the doors are officially opened. This is a school policy we have been asked to enforce from the administration, so please respect that.
HOWEVER, one exception: If you are a volunteer selling tickets or waters BEFORE the doors open, you may save ONE seat before your shift as you wouldn't be able to enter when the doors open.
3. There is NOT a cast party with this performance. Some grades or acts may decide to do something on their own, but for this large of a cast, there is not an official party.
4. BUT, you can celebrate with Chip Wheelies after the show. WSMA will be selling them on Friday and Saturday nights after the show. Please plan to support this great organization!
