For rehearsal Monday & Tuesday January 10th and 11th, please have your student bring some sort of long stick or pole. This can even be a broom, mop, or walking stick. It should be as tall as a house broom. We are using a long walking stick (think Chinese weapon here) for the dance number, I'll Make a Man Out of You. We are borrowing these from Acting Up, but until these arrive, this will give your students a stronger sense of what these movements will feel like with this "weapon" in their hand. Believe me, I choreographed this number with a mop, so it works :)
