I realize that not everyone will be able to be there at all times; however, PLEASE, may I remind you that you signed the audition form stating that the talent show would take precedence over the next two weeks. We only have 7 rehearsals, and the majority of you are only called for 3 rehearsals based on the act that you are in. Please do whatever you can to make it to your rehearsal time. If the entire group cannot be there, I would at least prefer to get who can be there. It is your responsibility to get with your group to see what you missed and make-up for this on YOUR OWN TIME.
ALL CAST/CREW are required to be there the week of the show: Monday + either Tuesday or Wednesday, depending in which section of the show you are in. Monday is the last time the entire cast will be together until opening night, so it is absolutely necessary for you to be there. Please make whatever arrangements you need to in order to be ready and on stage when it is your turn to perform.
I also except each group to practice their act on their own time. I will not be concentrating on the act itself in rehearsals, as much as I will be concentrating on the transitions and what happens before and after your act. I will tweak a few things as we go along, but please know that YOU are responsible for the content of your act.
Please bring your props and costume pieces to your first rehearsal. You can leave all props and costume pieces in the green room/prop table from here on out. Please provide a bin (laundry bin or smaller) for each group to keep all costume pieces and props inside if your group uses props/costume pieces. Please make sure to label with your name. You can keep this bin in the green room from here on out. If you do put a prop on the prop table, please make sure to label with your name. Please begin wearing final costumes on Monday, May 9th.
